Mercenary Jobs
Mercenary jobs are ideal for those individuals who love the excitement of law
enforcement or the military but would like to earn a better than average income. Those with a background in
military service or law enforcement may already have the skills necessary to handle one of the many jobs available
in this interesting and challenging field.
High profile individuals frequently hire mercenaries to provide executive protection.
Prior training and experience may have already given individuals the resources necessary to offer protection on
many fronts. These individuals can often spot weaknesses in existing security operations and provide viable
solutions. Working as a bodyguard for the rich and famous, mercenaries can earn huge salaries.
One of the lesser known mercenary jobs is that of the tactical medic. Working on
medical battlefields, the tactical medic is an indispensible member of a military team. Since these individuals
often work in hostile environments, it is essential that tactical medics have extensive military training in
addition to medical training.
Private military companies work with the federal government to send their soldiers to
carry out interesting and often dangerous assignments. There is not a lot of difference between working for the
federal military and working for a private military company as many of the duties are similar. The federal military
must adhere to strict constitutional guidelines. Private military companies seek to employ candidates who possess
priceless combat training and experience.
After a stint in the military, many former or retired soldiers are interested in
becoming law enforcement officers. The skills honed in the military will be invaluable to those employed as law
enforcement officers. These officers work diligently to protect citizens from domestic enemies.
The disaster officer is becoming one of the more popular mercenary jobs. The disaster
officer works to protect assets and personnel after disaster has struck. A disaster such as earthquake, tsunami,
medical disaster, or explosion often provides opportunities for looters and rioters to wreak havoc on an area. The
disaster officer’s job is to protect power line trucks, medical vehicles, gasoline, supplies, food, and other
essential supplies. The government often sends troops to maintain order and make repairs, but private companies
often hire disaster officers to secure the affected area while work is being done. These disaster officers also
protect the rescue workers from harm. A strong military background is instrumental in performing the assorted
duties that a disaster officer must handle.
