Guardian Dental Providers
Guardian dental insurance plans are typically sponsored by employers as an employee benefit. There are over
90,000 Guardian dental providers throughout the United States offering quality services for employees and their
dependents. Guardian plans provide a full range of dental services from basic preventive and diagnostic care to
complicated procedures like root canals and dental implants; in all cases, services provided by Guardian dental
providers are covered at a higher rate than for out-of-network services. Vision network discounts are also
available to Guardian dental insurance customers as an additional benefit of their dental coverage.
The Guardian HMO dental insurance plan provides low-cost premiums and top-of-the-line services from in-network
dentists. Guardian dental providers are carefully selected for excellence of service and boast a 97% satisfaction
rate among members, one of the highest in the nation. HMO plans cover most preventive and diagnostic care received
from participating Guardian dental providers at low copayment rates; in some cases, the copayments for these
services are waived after three continuous years of coverage. Most HMO plans have no deductible for members to
meet, but coverage is subject to an annual maximum benefit; some plans feature Maximum Rollover which allows the
unused portion of the annual maximum benefit to roll over for use in later years.
PPO plans allow members to receive care from any dentist, but provide maximum benefits when patients obtain
services from Guardian dental providers. For plans that include a deductible, this amount must be paid
out-of-pocket before benefits are applied to dental costs. PPOs cover the same full range of services as HMOs, and
basic dental care and procedures typically are available at low rates through these plans. Guardian dental
providers charge approximately 30% less for their services than the average fees for their area, making them an
exceptionally good choice for cost-conscious consumers and employers. Additionally, Guardian’s turnaround time for
claims is one of the best in the business at three days or less on average. With these advantages, it’s no wonder
