Dental One Insurance ReviewWhen
choosing dental insurance for the family, Dental One Insurance offers a range of plans that are easy to
work with. The dental coverage is affordable and covers the entire family without compromising the quality and
dependability of dental care. Plans cover preventative, basic and major dental services for each insured
individual.
There are three affordable dental insurance plans to choose from: BasicOne,
ClassicOne and PremierOne. The plans are open to individuals of all ages, and a one-time deductible must be met
prior to coverage. Once this deductible is met, Secure DentalOne will cover a certain percentage of the dental work
depending on the insurance plan. This includes preventative, diagnostic, basic and major dental services.
Preventative care includes cleanings, exams, sealants and fluoride. Diagnostic care is bitewing X-rays and
full-mouth X-rays that look for potential problems. Basic care is fillings, extractions, and repairs, while major
work includes oral surgery, crowns and bridges.
There are differences across the three Dental One Insurance plans, which are important to understand before
choosing the right insurance plan for your family. The BasicOne insurance plan is most simple, with no waiting
periods, no office co-pays and no deductible. For preventative maintenance, the BasicOne plan covers 80% of the
expenses, while diagnostic, basic and major work come at a PPO discount. The insurance plan is straightforward and
ideal for those that require standard, preventative dental care. However, the insured must choose a dental provider
from the available choices.
The ClassicOne insurance plan has no waiting period for preventative and diagnostic work and covers 80% of
preventative and diagnostic care, while basic and major come at a discount. There is a Lifetime deductible to meet,
but no office co-pays. The PremierOne plan is the third option and has no waiting periods. It covers preventative
and diagnostic work in its entirety, which is why this is an ideal plan for those who don’t want to pay out of
pocket when visiting the dentist. There is an office co-pay and one-time deductible. The advantage to both the
ClassicOne and Premier One insurance plans is that the insured can choose any dentist of their choice.
After selecting a plan that will fit your needs, the coverage will start on the effective date of the policy.
This will begin on the first of the month following enrollment and will last for one calendar year. Dental One
Insurance offers convenient payment options that accept major credit cards or automatic monthly payments.
